Hand readings

Chirology, or hand reading, offers a fascinating insight into our gifts and challenges. One client who I read recently remarked that she’d received about 5 years’ worth of her own past therapy sessions in just one reading. How can that be?

When we palmists read the hands of our clients, we can help them come back to themselves. I like to view it as a healing art; we can find in the fingerprints and the prints and lines in the hand an individual’s uniqueness, their gifts and challenges, sorrows and joys. It’s a way of helping you to live your own true path; live in harmony with your true nature, for you to live life in your element.

It’s easy to lose our sense of ourselves in this world where we take on many roles, be it what we do for a living, being a parent, partner, sibling - and to a degree we can be somewhat flexible in all of these areas. But to live according to your own true nature helps you move through life with more ease, joy and purpose.

One big takeaway for me when it comes to hand reading (chirology) is how differently we all view the world and our place in it. It’s actually ok to have been brought up in a family who places emphasis on financial security, working hard towards a pension and mortgage to buck the perceived trend and become an actor, a smallholder, a builder…whatever your heart’s desire. In fact I’d go as far as to say it’s vital for your vitality.

Here’s a something I recently read about Julius Spier, a medical doctor and analytical psychologist who studied under Carl Jung:

‘…In the 1930s he used palmistry as a way of understanding an individual’s psychology, and was teaching and promoting his pyscho-chirology among physicians and psychologists in Berlin and Zurich. He saw palmists (chirologists) as a way of freeing an individual from the influences of family and background to allow them to live without repression or psychological illnesses that resulted from childhood conditioning.’

In these times of great change I feel it’s vital we get to know ourselves as best we can so we can move forward in life being true to who we really are.

I’m also offering distance readings online or via WhatsApp for £75. This requires you to take your own prints, or photographs showing the details in your hands and fingerprints. Once you’ve sent them to me to check over and I’m happy we have what we need to give an accurate reading, we can set a date.
